In the Waverly Middle School English program, we are a community of writers who learn alongside one another—developing our voices, deepening our understanding, and discovering how stories and ideas help shape a more thoughtful and connected community.
Throughout the year, we read widely, write often, and reflect intentionally as we explore literature and writing from many perspectives. Our work is project-based and rooted in curiosity, encouraging us to take intellectual risks and grow through revision, discussion, and collaboration. Writing is not only a skill we practice, but a way we make sense of our experiences, examine the world around us, and consider how our voices can contribute thoughtfully to our communities. We are proud to share our work as evidence of our learning, growth, and commitment to meaningful expression.
